Sick Baby

So we've had our first trip(of many, I'm sure)to outpatients. Yesterday at supper time Kennedy's fever really spiked, so off we went to the hospital. I figure we did pretty well. We got there at 4:45 and left at 8:00. They took us in quite quickly and did a urine test just to be sure...it took Kennedy a couple of hours to get her pee "out"!! People spend anywhere from 6-8 hours waiting to see a doctor there most days and the clinics were both closed last night so the place was packed. Kennedy sees our GP next week so we can get everything re-checked again. It all boiled down to the cold/flu that's going around plus a tiny bit of redness in her ear. So we got some meds and hopefully we're on our way to better health...

It's bloody freezing here...-30ish...

    Poor Kennedy. We hope she gets better very soon and the flu doesn't spread through the rest of the house.

    Oh no!! Hope Kennedy feels better soon!! We just went through a full week of a full house of sickies!!

    I hope your girl recovers quickly, it seems like a pretty nasty cold/flu. I haven't gotten sick yet...knock on wood (especially for parent-teacher conferences). I hope it doesn't go through the entire house and that she is jumping around in no time!

    You get the -30, and we get the PLUS 5. It's a rare winter day when we can brag about our weather.
    Hope Kennedy is fine. We miss you, and hi to Marvin. We have a good pic of him and a bundled up Kennedy at the Great Wall, which we will forward when we get a minute.

    I hope your darling gets better soon! It is horrible to have a sick kid!

    As for the weather, we are warm, here in the west. Not that I'm bragging....just happy to be warm for once.....:-)
