Bringing Kennedy Home

Feelings, thoughts and other tidbits along the way to adopting our daughter from China.

Last few hours in Nanchang

We are just back from getting Kennedy's Chinese passport. We have packed our things and are ready to head out to Beijing. It's with mixed emotions that we leave Jiangxi, Kennedy's birth province. Hopefully, one day, we'll be back again. Goodbye Nanchang and thank you for our beautiful daughter...

Happy baby:

Hi guys! You're probably at the airport right now getting ready to fly to Beijing. I hope you just love Beijing. Remember, the traffic is crazy, just stick to the little old ladies - they know what they're doing!
You better not let Yazzy see that latest video clip; his Mommy's got a new baby now and they're obviously head over heels in love with each other.
    Love, Steph :o)

P.S. The pic of Kennedy in her red hat is my new screensaver here at home. Sophie thinks she's such a cutie and Chloƫ's reaction was even better. She passed by the computer, then said "Whoa, wait a minute, wait a minute, who's dat?", then wouldn't let me work on the computer until she had stared and smiled at the pic for a few minutes.

Hi guys! Love all this footage!! I played the most recent one this morning where you are singing ring around the rosie to Kennedy and Mei Lin started rocking back and forth to your tune!! Beijing will be a very busy week for you guys with lots of outings, it can be very tiresome, so try to get some rest so you can enjoy every minute of it!! Daniel read through your blog this morning and was happy to see how well you guys are doing, it is amazing!! I am thinking of you guys constantly!!
