Happy Baby!

Well today has been an AMAZING day so far. It's 1:30p.m. Kennedy awoke this morning just after I finished writing the last post...about 4 a.m. She just laid there looking at Marvin for the longest time. We layed all three of us in the bed and she seemed very content. Then, at 5 a.m. we decided we'd awake and get ready to start our day (we had a busy schedule of meetings). Well, as soon as we propped her up, she was laughing and smiling and has done nothing but for the day so far. She had an entire bottle of formula (Chinese style!! I made it and she liked it...yay!)She ate some rice cereal and some cheerios and mum mums. So no more troubles on the food front. We figure she was beyond exhausted last night and that, along with her new parents, made for a tricky evening...

As with all new parents, we are head over heals in love. More than one person here in China and on the blog have commented that she looks like me...I like to think so!!

Today, we officially adopted Kennedy. When they asked us if we "liked her" ofcourse we replied yes. Funny.

We went to Walmart...interesting. Very busy. No one speaks English :)

    Your experience so far sounds like it is going just as it did with Mei Lin, she was just happy all the time and it started on day 2!! And yes, she does look like you!!! I am so happy for you guys...and yes, it is 2:30 am here and I just finished getting Mei Lin back to sleep...just thought I'd check in...couldn't watch the videos though, scared to wake her back up!!

    LOVE the videos!! Keep them coming! I can't get over her chubby legs and her big smile. What a cutie pie. You can just tell she's basking in all the love and affection. No problem with the bonding I'd say!!

    Wow...what a way to start Day 2!!! She is absolutely glowing and soooo happy!! And BTW, this is day 2 of me waking up crying...but most definitely tears of shear JOY! You got me when you said you officially adopted Kennedy!! I can only imagine what you must be feeling. I can't wait to see you three next week!

    Well, got my kids fed and off to school, Isabella is watching her favourite show and here I am checking out your blog....I seen on a kids t-shirt the other day "Just so you know...I am PRICELESS" and that is exactly what those video's of Kennedy are...she has the cutest laugh!! Amazing guys!!

I feel like everytime I post I just can't find the right words to describe what I just read or watched.     Wow what a giggle. I love it!!! I can't help but giggle right along with her. She is sooooo adorable. I love her sweet toes and her little button nose. I love her dark hair and her sweet laugh... you must be in awe of her. I am. She does look like you and Marvin...that is so neat.
