Update from our agency

Our agency has reported to us that they called CCAA and found that our referrals were mailed out. When they will arrive is still a mystery. I've turned a corner into great frustration, and emotions are running high tonight. I just cannot understand how two files from PEI would be so far behind all the others coming to Canada. I'm still willing to give it to Friday (the "one week later" idea that people have been telling me about would still make sense.) Anything after that and I'm assuming our referral has gone to somewhere other than PEI. I don't know what else to say...

Carolyn, I'm so sorry. I know there is not a whole lot I can say. At least you know your referral was mailed and you were not skipped. Hang in there!

Hi Carolyn, Hang in there!!! Tough to do, I know!!! Here in NS we waited 2 wks for our file and it is so hard while the rest of the country is getting theirs!! But apparantly it's the process...believe me, when you get that picture, you won't remember the long hard wait!!!

ok...here is the plan...if by Friday there is no picture, you and I will drive from Post office to postoffice and beg each and every letter carrier/mailperson and mailroom worker to sort, sift and double check every gosh darn bag until they find the envelope. I will cry...and you know I can. They won't stand a chance when they see two emotional basketcases on their counter, because we will be on their counter. What do you think? A good plan? I always feel better when I have a plan.
    Love ya,
    Jen

Hi, I've been watching your site for awhile...we're from northern B.C., and we too were late getting our pictures. If you know you're travelling with your friend then it's a pretty good bet your daughters are from the same orphange and are probably similar ages. We had 10 in our group (five from N.S.) and 9 of the babies were within a couple of weeks of each other. Are you travelling through Bonnie Wong from Vancouver? Our daughter is from the Hunan province. We have just started our paper work for #2 and I'm looking forward to all this anticipation again. We live in a small community and I think 1/2 the community was waiting with us. These little girls touch so many lives....even after 1 1/2 years my daughter remains a celebrity in the school where I taught as all these kids watched our journey. Your turn will come...congrats from a fellow primary teacher (still on leave!!) Brenda

    Hello Carolyn,
I am Shea's sister, and she has spoken often of you and your similarities. I have been checking your blogspot often, anxiously waiting with everyone your little one's referral. . . I can't imagine how difficult this week has been for you. The support shown to you and Marvin on your blog is incredible. We all are sending our love and thoughts to you. . . Bree
