Officially waiting for 9 months...

Well, yesterday marked 9 months since our file was logged in at CCAA. Wow! In some ways it seems like it flew by, but in other ways it seems like forever. If our wait is 18 months, as is being predicted, I guess we have another 9 months to wait. Ugh! I guess it feels like we've been waiting much longer because the process started long before August 31. Anyhow, we're in it for the long haul so we'll settle in and wait, wait, wait...

Hi there. My wait has officially been 7 months now. I hadn't heard of the 18 month prediction... though, if the referrals keep going as they are now, it might be!

    Marvin and Carolyn,

It's hard to believe we've been waiting 9 months! I just wish we had a better idea of when we'll meet our daughters. I'm still holding out hope that we'll have them home for Christmas. I'm relieved we're at least in the matching room, and moving that much closer to our girls.

    Thinking of you,
    Shea

Makes you wonder if you should have asked for twins!
You are getting closer though.....and the summer will go by fast, it always does.

Hang in, remember the adoption will be a when, not an if it will happen . My wait in 1997-98 was 13 months, so I know how you feel. Whoever said time flies, certainly wasn't waiting for their child! But it will happen..... Mom to a soon to be nine year old, now times flies!
